Your exSend profile is your digital identity on the platform. Keeping your personal details up to date ensures that drivers can identify you easily, receipts land in the correct inbox, and your account remains secure.
This guide covers how to update your name, contact information, and security settings.
1. Accessing Your Profile Settings #
To make any changes to your account, you first need to navigate to the settings menu:
- Open the exSend app.
- Tap the Profile Icon (Person) located at the far right of the bottom navigation bar.
- You will see the Account menu.
2. Updating Your Name #
If you have changed your name or noticed a typo during sign-up, you can fix it instantly.
- Tap on Edit profile.
- Tap on the First Name or Last Name fields.
- Type your new name.
- Tap the blue “Save Changes” button at the bottom.
Note: Please use the name you go by in real life. This helps drivers verify your identity when handing over valuable packages.
3. Changing Contact Information #
Your email and phone number are vital for account recovery and communication. Because these are sensitive details used for login, changing them may require re-verification.
To Change Your Phone Number: #
- In the Profile menu, tap Change phone number.
- Enter your new mobile number.
- You will receive a 5-digit OTP code via SMS to the new number.
- Enter the code to confirm the change. Important: Once changed, your old phone number will no longer work for logging in.
To Change Your Email Address: #
- In the Profile menu, tap Change email address.
- Enter the new email address you wish to use.
- Tap Save Changes.
- Check your new email inbox for a verification link or code to finalize the update.
4. Security & Password Management #
We recommend updating your password periodically to keep your account safe.
Resetting or Changing Your Password: #
- Scroll down to the Security section in the Profile menu.
- Tap Choose password (or Change Password).
- Current Password: You may be asked to enter your old password first.
- New Password: Enter your new secure password.
- Confirm: Type it again to ensure there are no typos.
Tip: A strong password should contain a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
5. Deleting Your Account #
We would be sad to see you go, but we believe you should have full control over your data.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Scroll to the very bottom of the screen.
- Tap the red “Delete account” button.
- Warning: This action is permanent.
- You will lose your delivery history.
- Any unused credits or wallet balances may be forfeited.
- You will not be able to log in with this phone number again without creating a brand new account.
