Managing Saved Locations

2 min read

Booking a delivery should be fast. Instead of typing your address every single time you send a package from home or the office, you can save these addresses to your profile.

This guide covers how to add, label, and manage your favorite locations for one-tap access.

1. Why Save a Location? #

Saving a location transforms a 30-second task into a 2-second task.

  • Speed: Select “Home” or “Mom’s House” instantly during booking.
  • Accuracy: Avoid typos that might send a driver to the wrong street.
  • Convenience: Perfect for businesses that ship from the same warehouse repeatedly.

2. Adding a New Location #

You can save as many locations as you need.

  1. Open the exSend app and tap the Profile Icon (bottom right).
  2. Tap on Saved locations.
  3. Tap the “Add New Location” (or +) button.
  4. Search Address: Start typing the address (e.g., “123 Main St”). Select the correct match from the list.
  5. Add a Label: Give it a friendly name so you recognize it easily.
    • Examples: “Home,” “Work,” “Gym,” “Warehouse B.”
  6. Tap Save.

Pro Tip: Be precise! If you live in a large apartment complex, you can often add delivery notes (like “Gate Code: 1234”) to the specific saved location so drivers always know how to get in.

3. Using Saved Locations #

Once you have saved an address, using it is simple.

  1. On the Home Screen, tap Send a package.
  2. Tap on the Pickup or Drop-off search bar.
  3. Instead of typing, look for the “Saved Places” list below the search bar.
  4. Tap the location you want (e.g., “Home”), and the address field will fill automatically.

4. Deleting or Editing a Location #

Moved to a new house? Changed jobs? You can keep your list clean by removing old addresses.

To Delete a Location: #

  1. Go to Profile > Saved locations.
  2. Find the address you want to remove.
  3. Swipe Left on the location name.
  4. Tap the red Delete (trash can) icon.

To Edit a Label: #

  1. Tap on the existing location.
  2. Change the label (e.g., from “Office” to “Old Office”).
  3. Tap Save.
